Tattoo Cover ups

If you are sending an application in regards to a cover up, please attach up to date (recent) photos of your tattoo!

We offer tattoo cover up as well as fixing old tattoos that need a refresh.

Usually tattoo cover-ups require that the tattoo being covered is not large; small to medium tattoos are best, so that the tattoo artist can be flexible with the new tattoo cover up and have different options when wanting to fix the tattoo.

If your tattoo is large and you still want a cover up, then you may be more limited to the styles that can be used.
It is preferred that you talk to your tattoo artist about it face to face.
If your tattoo is quite dark, we have connections within the community so we can best set you up with a removal or partial removal of the tattoo prior to the cover up.

Scar Cover ups + Tattooing over scars

If you are sending an application in regards to covering up a scar, or the tattoo will be on an area that has a scar,
please attach up to date (recent) photos of the affected area.
Once we are able to see what that area of your body currently looks like, we can set you up with the best artist to take on the project for you.
we have many artists who are comfortable tattooing over scars, doing scar cover ups, or reducing the overall appearance of the scar (cosmetic tattooing).

Please be advised that some scars may be too fresh, raised, or hyper-pigmented to be tattooed over or be able to be completely hidden.
If you have questions or concerns regarding this, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us/send in an application so we can advise you or set you up
with a consultation to discuss your options with an artist.

Styles + Placements

Our professional tattoo artists cover a wide variety of tattoo styles.

If you are unsure what style you’re looking for, or who the best artist is for you,
please attach photos of tattoos that you like on your application form and we can point you in the right direction!

Inkroom has artists who specialize in: realism, surrealism, portraits, traditional, neo-traditional, watercolour, trash-polka, blackwork, neo-japanese, script, minimalism, sketchy-style, illustrative, fine-line, dot-work, geometric/mandalas + many more

There are some styles that may work better for certain placements (body parts) in order for the tattoo to stand the test of time.
high flex areas like elbows, knees, hands, and fingers may require different styles to accommodate for this.
